Windstar Chair Featured as One of Thirty-Two Essayists In Tax Analysts’ “Toward Tax Reform: Recommendations for President Obama’s Task Force”
Norwood, MA, October 15, 2009 – Windstar Technologies is proud to announce that Chair Paula N. Singer, Esq.’s essay “Individual Nonfilers and the International Tax Gap” was one of thirty-two essays featured in Tax Analysts’ book Toward Tax Reform: Recommendations for President Obama’s Task Force. The purpose of the book was to provide recommendations on tax reform from America’s prominent tax experts to the President’s Task Force on Tax Code Reform.
“In this economic climate, it is important that the United States examine ways to simplify the tax system and make it more economically efficient,” said Singer. “I am honored to have had the opportunity to join the group of prominent tax experts with my suggestions to the President’s task force for reducing the international tax gap in a way that would provide a fairer and simpler method for taxing U.S. citizens who live abroad.”
